The Magic Castle

I read your story about the Magic Castle yesterday and found it a very comprehensive and colorful piece. The melding of history and Hollywood with the best parts of our human character was refreshing to read about. Secret societies really do exist and this one uplifts the spirit.

Thanks for publishing such interesting material.

Another Admirer

Dear Mr. Davis:

You must be very proud to have a literary lion like Mr. Frederick Gomez in your midst. His piece on the Magic Castle which you released on Sep. 2, 2010, was enough to bring me and a host of others onboard as new readers of The Paper. Word is spreading about you and your fine newspaper!

Had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Gomez a few years back at a book-signing at Borders Books & Music, but I did not know he wrote for you!

We're all looking forward to seeing more of his literary output in future editions of The Paper!

And Still More . . .

Mr. Editor, I read the Magic Castle story that you printed in The Paper and then I re-read three more times! It was too interesting for just one reading! Frederick Gomez and Lyle Davis are a winning team in my book! I'm hooked!

Sincerely,

Mr. Carlos Ambriz

What Stays in Vegas . . .

I picked up your issue of The Paper while vacationing in San Diego.

I live in Las Vegas where magic abounds from Lance Burton to Siegfried and Roy. I have followed the Magic scene for many years and Frederick's article once again seemed to paint the picture whatever he writes about and puts the subject he "paints" so vividly and concise. His knowledge on subjects are to be admired.

Bravo, Frederick!
