Escondido Humane Society Reducing Adoption Fees in July

During the summer months the Escondido Humane Society sees an influx of animals coming through the doors. To help find homes for these furry friends, EHS is reducing adoption fees by 50 percent for the entire month of July. Animals included in this special are puppies, kittens, adult dogs and cats, and bunnies.

Regular adoption fees are $160 for puppies and kittens up to 6 months; $110 for adult dogs and cats (6 months and up); $55 for senior dogs and cats (7 years and up); and $45 for all bunnies.

"Summer really is a great time to bring a new pet home. Kids are out of school and parents have more time, which is the ideal scenario for bonding with a new pet," said EHS Executive Director Sally Costello. "If you have been considering adding a pet to your family, now is the perfect time to visit the Escondido Humane Society."
