pet
Bigwig

Bigwig is a 2-year-old neutered male New Zealand mix bunny, ID # 34733. Bigwig is a fun and interactive bunny who is perfect with his litter box and very well behaved during run time outside his cage. Bigwig had an accident and dislocated his hip. He had surgery to repair the hip and has recovered fully, but he will need to have play time on carpet or a secure surface so he does not slip. He loves to play with the cats and dogs in his foster home. Bigwig is available for adoption from the Escondido Humane Society and is currently living in foster care. His adoption fee is $22.50 in July and includes microchip, up-to-date vaccinations, neuter and vet exam. For more information, call (760) 888-2247 or escondidohumanesociety.org. The Escondido Humane Society Adoption Center is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. seven days a week.

pet
Annabelle

Annabelle is a 4-year old spayed female white Jack Russell Terrier mix who weighs about 15 lbs. She's looking for that special someone to come to her rescue. Because Annabelle is mostly white, she will need to be an indoor dog, and watched closely when she is outside so that she doesn't get sunburned. She is housetrained, likes to go on walks. She is currently living with other dogs and is fine with them - loves chase and tug of war. She loves being petted and very much enjoys her time with people. She is much quieter than the average Jack Russell, and will make someone a lovely pet. She might do better in an adult home or where the children are older and not bouncy. To learn more about Annabelle, or to meet her, please contact her foster mom, Lacey, at laceyh@joimail.com.

kittens

Yes, they are cutie pies.

And they’re so new they don’t yet have names. We’ll leave that to you.

Naming a kitten is a special act, best left to the new kitten’s family of humans.

Check them out! At the Escondido Humane Society
