pet
Mallory

Mallory is a 2-year-old female domestic shorthair mix, ID # 45936. Mallory is a playful, fun-loving young girl. She’s very quiet in her kennel, so most people walking through the halls don't realize she is there and just how loving and charming she is. Her favorite thing is just sitting in your lap and snuggling with you all day. Mallory is one of the featured "catwalk" stars during the Escondido Humane Society’s "Project Purrfect" adoption special. Her new family will receive a "kitty" bag of goodies with her adoption. As part of the special, Mallory can be adopted for just $55 in June. Adoption fee includes spay, microchip, up-to-date vaccinations and wellness exam. For more information, call (760) 888-2247 or escondidohumanesociety.org. The Escondido Humane Society Adoption Center is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. seven days a week.

pet
Glenda

Glenda is a 3-year old spayed, black and white Pit Bull mix who is a kind and gentle soul. A few shelter volunteers thought she was such a special dog that they decided to sponsor her so that a local rescue group could get her out of the shelter. Unfortunately, the rescue has no foster home available for Glenda, so she is currently being boarded at a dog kennel, and she is desperate to find a forever home where she won't be lonesome anymore. She weighs 73lbs. and is slimming down more and more each day! Glenda is one of a few very special dogs who was enrolled in dog obedience school while living at the shelter, and she was a top student! She loves to go on long walks, and she walks beautifully when on a Sensation Harness. Glenda would prefer being the only dog in the house. FOR MORE INFORMATION, PLEASE CONTACT PAM at pjr223@yahoo.com or 858-525-2988.

kittens

Yes, they are cutie pies.

And they’re so new they don’t yet have names. We’ll leave that to you.

Naming a kitten is a special act, best left to the new kitten’s family of humans.

Check them out! At the Escondido Humane Society
