pet
Xander

Xander is a 2-year-old male shorthair mix, ID # 46695. The first thing you might notice about Xander is that he is a little different from all the other cats. His tail was badly injured and had to be amputated. But he doesn’t let it dampen his spirits. He is a very happy, playful, social guy who loves to give and receive affection. He even comes when called. He is currently residing in the Adoptions Lobby, and he takes his job as a greeter very seriously. He always says hello to visitors with a friendly meow and purr. Xander is one of the featured "catwalk" stars during the Escondido Humane Society’s "Project Purrfect" adoption special. His new family will receive a "kitty" bag of goodies with his adoption. As part of the special, Xander can be adopted for just $55 in June. Adoption fee includes neuter, microchip, up-to-date vaccinations and wellness exam. For more information, call (760) 888-2247 or escondidohumanesociety.org.

kittens

Yes, they are cutie pies.

And they’re so new they don’t yet have names. We’ll leave that to you.

Naming a kitten is a special act, best left to the new kitten’s family of humans.

Check them out! At the Escondido Humane Society
