What an amazing concept, an independent newspaper in a community actually servicing and entertaining the community!
I cannot describe how much I’ve enjoyed and learned from your diverse subject matter. Dr. Oz, Indian History, The Mormon Faith, War Heros, for just a few. And it’s free. The only thing missing is SUDOKU lol.
Thank you so very much. I take extras and pass them out to friends and URGE people to consider your advertisers. How weird is that?
Thank You,

Dear Editor:
I would like to thank you for the article on the Megan's Law. I did not know about the site. It was very useful.

Criticism Offered
The irony of your latest edition with the article on sexual predators on the front was not lost on me. You rail against the sexually aberrant (predator) while “chuckling” at bestiality and sex jokes. There needs to be (and actually is) a moral standard for sex and it is a short step from that standard to sexual predation when the road leads through making light of (laughing at) aberrant sexual behavior through (so called “clean”) humor. Regarding laughing at any type of moral character deviation, through humor or any other recorded means, my advice is, don’t go there.

Letters to the Editor are always welcome.
Please limit your submission to 250 words. As always, we reserve the right to edit for length, content, and good taste.
We prefer submittals via email. Please send to:
thepaper@cox.net but will accept faxed copies and regular mail. We will, however, screech mightily if and when we receive them because, being lazy, we don’t like to have to retype Letters to the Editor or Press Releases. With email it’s a lot quicker and easier to edit.
If you have an item for The Social Butterfly, you can email that to: TheSocialButterfly@cox.net
Readers are expected to comport themselves at all times as ladies and gentlemen. Seeing as how that's all that reads The Paper, that should be easy.
We require your name, address, and phone number so we can verify the letter. We will not, however, publish your address or phone number.
Fax to:

We seek to hear a variety of opinions from North San Diego County. After all, we are YOUR community newspaper. You have an opportunity, via the Letters to the Editor, to have your views known. Get busy and start writing!
