Valley Center Ignored stepchild of PPH
It appears greed supersedes service to the bond/taxpayers of Valley Center. Several short years ago Palomar Pomerado Hospital sold bonds to their constituents, including residents of Valley Center, with the promise of a health clinic for their community. Now, not a peep of keeping their (PPH) promise, but a swirl of activity to establish three health clinics outside their bond district. Why ignore Valley Center residents who pay into PPH for their services? Answer, the greed for income (money) to pay for the bloated 500 milllion dollar overbudget new hospital that the board had entrapped the district into. Are your elected officials truly looking out for you and your families as promised in the bond that you helped pass?

An Answer to Our Editorial of 2/11/2010
“Federal legislators need to wake up and recognize that America is speaking and they are not listening. They ignore America at their own peril. A nation will only hurt so much and then the people will take action. The end result, history shows us, is not always pretty. Think Mussolini. Think Ceacescue.”
I think the Federal Legislators are listening... but they are listening to the fringes, left and right, and to their cadre of opinionated advisors who presume to know what THE PEOPLE are thinking by reacting to the loudest, most jingoistic, irrespective of whether it is truthful, factually accurate or practical. Then there is what masquerades as The Fourth Estate, a group of agenda driven demagogues trying to pass themselves off as unbiased newspersons and analysts who delight in whipping up their Pavlovian dogs with cliches, half-truths and outright lies.
The real danger is that difficult economic times like we have now provide fertile ground for insidious concepts and acts to flourish, with very unfortunate results.

You're right on.
As much as I despise Obama, it's uncanny that the Repubs are blocking everything he does. It's tyranny, really, and they should be ashamed. I blame the Internet for a lot of this lack of listening---which I, myself, am frequently guilty of. We offer opinions on websites before even reading what the content might be.
Talk radio is another culprit, as well as the news channels that no longer deliver the news but flood us with partisan opinions. It's sad, but I don't know that there is a solution. I can only see this chasm getting wider.

And one More . . .
I totaly agree and even support revolutionary dialogue-----gottta start sometime, somewhere, to get them out of office. Have even increased my supply of amo from the gun shows which were jammed with others doing the same.
The people are STIRRRRRRRRING.
