Colin Mochrie and Brad Sherwood
A Review

Show time: 8PM
Show Started: 8:06PM

photoI believe I laughed harder than I ever have in my life as we took in the wonderful improvisational comedy of Colin Mochrie and Brad Sherwood, both stars of “Whose Line Is It Anyway?”

They were in fine form and had the entire audience in stitches throughout the evening. Often involving audience participation, the twosome moved smoothly from one scenario to another. It was clear that had worked together often and were very comfortable with one another and played off each other nicely.

Last week, we saw Kris Kristofferson in concert. An older audience. This was a younger crowd. But the new programming of entertainment for the California Center for the Arts, Escondido, seems to be working..

Promoters are bringing in acts that appeal to the palates of North County patrons. The financial fortunes of the Center just might turn around.

It appeared the theatre had about 60-70% of its seats sold. That is good. Kristofferson was, perhaps, 75-80% sold. We’re going in the right direction! Kudos to the Escondido City Council for its new programming policy. Now we need more great programming, and it’s coming!
