pet
Crystal

Crystal is a 2-year-old spayed female New Zealand White mix (ID # 36723). Crystal and her eight babies were turned into a shelter near downtown Los Angeles after Easter. Crystal bravely cared for her babies in the shelter near barking dogs until she was rescued into foster care. She is a little bit shy but a very sweet and calm girl overall. She's good with gentle dogs and cats and has done well when meeting male bunnies. Crystal is available for adoption from the Escondido Humane Society. Her adoption fee of $45 includes up-to-date vaccinations, spay and vet exam.

For more information, call (760) 888-2247, or log on to www.escondidohumanesociety.org. The Escondido Humane Society Adoption Center is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. seven days a week.

Jack

Jack is a Cairn Terrier mix who is dark brindle with a white chest. He's neutered, weighs 13 pounds and is 2 years old. He's a great little dog, and is very friendly. He loves being held and petted -- apparently hasn't had much of that kind of attention, he thinks it's great! He walks like a champ, plays by himself and does well with other dogs, too. He would be fine with dog-savvy cats. To meet Jack, or learn more about him, contact his foster mom, Dianne, at diane4AR@yahoo.com, or 760-598-1997. Jack is up-to-date with routine shots and house trained.

kittens

Yes, they are cutie pies.

And they’re so new they don’t yet have names. We’ll leave that to you.

Naming a kitten is a special act, best left to the new kitten’s family of humans.

Check them out! At the Escondido Humane Society
