Interfaith Plans Grand Opening of Home for Women
On Wednesday, December 9, "The Lois Wick Clausen Home for Women" will be dedicated and blessed in the faith tradition of Lois Wick Clausen, who always had a heart for helping people in need. She was a retired teacher and early Interfaith donor, who volunteered throughout the community and gave selflessly to others. Her final heroic gift is a duplex that she donated to Interfaith. This Home for Women will continue her legacy of caring for those who are in need by providing a home for two previously homeless families who have a disabled family member. Lois's generosity will live on to help others, year after year.
The event will be from 11:30am to 1pm, at 1434-1436 South Maple Street, Escondido. RSVP to Mary Ferro at 760.489.6380, Ext. 266.
