The Bandy Canyon Issue
Perhaps you have already heard from Bob Johnson or Wendy Barker, but I wanted to add my personal thanks for your excellent coverage which contributed so much to the success of the History Centers' fund raiser last Saturday.
We pretty much achieved our goal in attendance and profit and we had a good time. My buddy Jack Owens (the retired radiator guy) and I spent the afternoon directing parking and we had little time for anything else. Personally, I was estacic over the attendance and I largely attribute the turnout to "The Paper" getting the word out. Thanks again.
Loved Enola Gay Story
Just wanted to tell you I really, really enjoyed the Enola Gay piece. Where else can one find such gripping reading in a newspaper! I enjoyed every word of the interview. Thanks for giving us readers something more than the usual!

National Health Care
This is a simplified version of the present State of the Union:
To the tune of trillions of borrowed money since World War II, the government has been priming the pump to finance wars, social "entitlements," etc.
With the well already beginning to run dry, in its thirst for power, Congress is about to suck up the last drop.
Will Americans face up to this reality in time??

Letters to the Editor are always welcome.
Please limit your submission to 250 words. As always, we reserve the right to edit for length, content, and good taste.
We prefer submittals via email. Please send to:
firstname.lastname@example.org but will accept faxed copies and regular mail. We will, however, screech mightily if and when we receive them because, being lazy, we don’t like to have to retype Letters to the Editor or Press Releases. With email it’s a lot quicker and easier to edit.
If you have an item for The Social Butterfly, you can email that to: TheSocialButterfly@cox.net
Readers are expected to comport themselves at all times as ladies and gentlemen. Seeing as how that's all that reads The Paper, that should be easy.
We require your name, address, and phone number so we can verify the letter. We will not, however, publish your address or phone number.
Regular mail to:
