Pet of the Week October 29th, 2009

pet
Petey

Petey is an 8-year-old neutered male shepherd mix. He is an active, happy and sweet boy who loves everyone. He is great with other dogs, and he does well with children. He enjoys going for long walks and playing ball, but he also can slow down and would love to curl up on the couch and watch TV with you as well. Petey is available for adoption at the Escondido Humane Society, 3450 E. Valley Parkway. During October, the Humane Society is having a buddy adoption special that allows anyone who has adopted from the shelter in the past year to adopt a dog or puppy for free. For new adopters, Petey’s adoption fee is $27.50, which includes microchip, up-to-date vaccinations, neuter and vet exam. For more information, call (760) 888-2247 or log on to www.escondidohumanesociety.org.

kittens

Yes, they are cutie pies.

And they’re so new they don’t yet have names. We’ll leave that to you.

Naming a kitten is a special act, best left to the new kitten’s family of humans.

Check them out! At the Escondido Humane Society
