A New Reader
I enjoyed very much reading The Paper about the Armenian Genocide. Did you know my family was also massacred by the Turkish government in 1915?
My father was a remarkable man. He was an eyewitness to the massacre of 1.5 million Armenians. He was exposed to a terrible tragedy. It changed his entire life forever. He saw bodies buried below the ground except their head exposed to the sun. He saw men, women, and children lying on the ground dead. His mother and two sisters managed to survive the Armenian Genocide and ended up in the refugee camp.
Please let me know if my father’s story could be in the Paper also.

Editor’s Note: Sorry, probably not. We seldom revisit a cover and related articles so soon after it is published. We may, in time, revisit the issue. At that time we’d be happy to consider your father’s story. That time, however, is likely several years away.
Letters to the Editor are always welcome.
Please limit your submission to 250 words. As always, we reserve the right to edit for length, content, and good taste.
We prefer submittals via email. Please send to:
firstname.lastname@example.org but will accept faxed copies and regular mail. We will, however, screech mightily if and when we receive them because, being lazy, we don’t like to have to retype Letters to the Editor or Press Releases. With email it’s a lot quicker and easier to edit.
If you have an item for The Social Butterfly, you can email that to: TheSocialButterfly@cox.net
Readers are expected to comport themselves at all times as ladies and gentlemen. Seeing as how that's all that reads The Paper, that should be easy.
We require your name, address, and phone number so we can verify the letter. We will not, however, publish your address or phone number.
