Hidden Valley Kiwanis Presents “Operation Hero”

A packed house welcomed Army Sergeant Ryan Kahlor as a special honored guest in the Operation Hero program sponsored by the Hidden Valley Kiwanis Club of Escondido.

Sgt. Kahlor survived two deployments to Iraq, six separate IED (Improvised Explosive Device) attacks and numerous firefights. He is suffering from neck, back and head injuries as well as PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder).

Escondido Mayor Lori Holt Pfeiler presented a check for $500 from the Hidden Valley Kiwanis Club to Sergeant Kahlor as a token of appreciation from the community.
