Lake San Marcos Kiwanis Club Hosted Christmas Party for Marines

Again this year, the Lake San Marcos Kiwanis Club hosted a Christmas Party in December for the children and wives of the 1st ANGLICO Marines at Camp Pendleton. This was the third year that the club had brought their own Santa Claus with lots of gifts for the children, and gift cards for the families.

A catered luncheon, by Chick-Fil-A, was served to all. There were approximately 180 family members present to share in the festivities. As each child climbed on Santa's lap, proud parents and Kiwanis members were flashing their cameras while watching the children open presents.

In addition to all the donated children's gifts, the ladies of LSM Kiwanis Club presented a grab bag filled with gifts for the 1st ANGLICO wives. The Daughters of the American Revolution group were so inspired, after hearing of the prior events, they also participated with gifts for the women.
