Your Valentines Day Story
Hello, Lyle…
Although I retired a year ago last January, I do still read “The Paper” frequently and, as always, am fascinated with your ability to bring great stories to your readers.
Desiree is a unique and inspirational young lady, and deserves all the help/support she can get. Thank you for bringing her story to your readers.
Sincerely, Art Phelps
San Diego
Editor’s Note: Art Phelps retired from San Diego Web Offset, the company that prints The Paper as well as many other community newspapers in San Diego County.
Compliments are always welcome but compliments from someone in the business, who scans through dozens of papers every day, and selects ours for praise . . . well, that’s particularly special . . . and much appreciated.
Letters to the Editor are always welcome.
Please limit your submission to 250 words. As always, we reserve the right to edit for length, content, and good taste.
We prefer submittals via email. Please send to:
thepaper@cox.net
but will accept faxed copies and regular mail. We will, however, screech mightily if and when we receive them because, being lazy, we don’t like to have to retype Letters to the Editor or Press Releases. With email it’s a lot quicker and easier to edit.
If you have an item for The Social Butterfly, you can email that to: TheSocialButterfly@cox.net
Readers are expected to comport themselves at all times as ladies and gentlemen. See as how that’s all that reads The Paper, that should be easy.
