Are You "Normal"?
The 3 Ways To Determine Whether You have "Normal" Or “Abnormal" Health and Function…
The Central Nervous System is composed of the brain, spinal cord, and spinal nerves. The Central Nervous System, which is located inside the bones of the spine, controls all functions and healing in the human body. The most common and likely way to interfere with the Central Nervous System is with the spine. "Abnormal" position of the spine and subluxations (spinal misalignments) will interfere with the Central Nervous System. These interferences will cause the organs of the body not to function or heal "normally".
In only the last few years, medical, anatomical, and engineering researchers have been able to clearly define "normal" spinal alignments. There are three proven ways to evaluate the spinal alignment:
1. Postural Examination
2. X-rays
3. Computerized EMG evaluation.
Our office utilizes all these procedures to evaluate a patient's spine and Central Nervous System.
When looking at a person from the front, the spine must be straight. The head, shoulders, hips, and feet should be lined up. When looking at a person from the side, the ears should be back over the shoulders and the shoulders should be back over the pelvis. Posture is the window to your spine.
When looking at the front view x-ray, the spinal bones (vertebrae) must also be straight. The bones must not be rotated nor tilted and no curvatures (scoliosis) can be present.
The side view X-ray must reveal three 43 degree arcs. The most important 43 degree arc is in the neck (cervical spine). This arc is known as the "Arc of Life" because mental life impulses travel directly from the brain down this part of the spinal cord to bring life to the rest of the body. People who lose their Arc of Life do not live as long because it causes severe obstruction to the brain, spinal cord, and nerves (Central Nervous System) and also causes early and progressive spinal degeneration
I'm really excited about an incredible diagnostic machine that we have added to our office.
Similar to a Heart EKG, our new Spinal EMG is a non-invasive imaging device that can actually show joint and muscle dysfunctions you may have BEFORE becoming nagging, painful and potentially long-term problem.
Like a visit to your family doctor for a physical, or a visit to your dentist for your teeth - I would like to invite you to come in and have a Spinal EMG performed for you. It just takes minutes to perform, and you will have the results IMMEDIATELY.
