Penguin

Penguin is a tuxedo clad 3 year old, neutered, male, Pointer Mix. Friendly, playful, great with kids and housebroken too!

What's your New Year's resolution? Get into a fitness program! Walking at a moderate pace for 30-60 minutes burns stored fat and can build muscle to speed up your metabolism. Walking an hour a day is also associated with cutting your risk of heart disease, diabetes and stroke. Need a walking buddy? GET A DOG ... like Penguin! Many orphaned pets looking for homes will help you glide easily into that fitness program!

You can adopt "Penguin" for $175.

All pets adopted from Helen Woodward Animal Center have been spayed or neutered, have up-to-date vaccinations and have microchip identification.

Helen Woodward Animal Center kennels are open everyday from 11am to 6pm. (Applications accepted till 5:45pm) at 6461 El Apajo Road in Rancho Santa Fe.

For more information call 858-756-4117, option #1 or log on to www.animalcenter.org.

Winter Critter Camp kids are "cool" as they touch the animals and learn. Pre K (children must be 4 years old) to 5th Grade. Each day presents a different topic.

Sign up today with our Education Department!

For more information call 858-756-4117 ext. 318 or log on to www.animalcenter.org
