The Tri-City Story

When you’re looking for a place to do business, particularly when it’s something to do with a major purchase . . . something involving your home . . . there are a couple things you should do to make sure you’re dealing with top grade people.

Take a look at how long they’ve been in business. Next, check out how long their staff has been with the company. If they’ve been in business a long time . . . for example, Tri-City Carpets has been in their Vista location for 35 years, and in their Escondido location for over 20 years . . . that tells you they are solid. Chances are they are successful because of referral by their customers to other customers . . . and repeat business because of satisfaction. Secondly, most all of the staff at Tri-City Carpets have been there for years. That’s a good reflection on the calibre of ownership and management. People stay around when ownership and management treat them well. Loyalty is a two way street. Just as ownership and management treat their staff well, so they also treat their customers well . . . and that’s why the business remains successful. You have now learned two secrets to success . . . simple, yet there are many companies that don’t practice them . . . and then wonder why they don’t succeed. Tri-City Carpets has . . . and they have

Time for you to get acquainted with Tri-City Carpets. They’ve got a tremendous warehouse with over 200 rolls of carpet . . this means there’s no lengthy wait to order carpet from mills, wait for the transportation . . . you’ve got a large selection already in stock. That’s another secret to their success . . . a large selection of inventory . . . and making it easy for the customer to shop and make an important decision.

Your carpeting, hardwood flooring, and ceramic tiles are available for immediate installation.

Famous carpet names like Shaw, Gulistan, Mohawk . . famous hardwood names like Armstrong and Mannington . . large, comfortable showrooms at both the Vista and Escondido location. In Vista, you’ll find Tri-City at 1455 West Vista Way . . . in Escondido, you’ll find them at 840 E. Valley Parkway.

We visited the Escondido location recently and met two lovely young ladies, Bella Parcell and Jennifer LaVine. They are quick to tell you that you can buy from the best in the business by shopping at Tri-City Carpets. Good old fashioned customer service, always with a smile . . . lots of integrity and good, honest business dealings.

Whether it’s carpeting, hardwood flooring, ceramic tile . . or even making rugs . . . yes, they have a binding machine that can put remnants together and actually make you a rug! They service mobile homes, the military families . . . and homes just like yours.

All major credit cards accepted, they are open Monday through Friday from 8am to 5:30pm, Saturday, 9am to 4pm.

Opening The (Garage) Door To Success

You take a young Samoan kid of eight years of age, bring him to America and challenge him to succeed.

That’s pretty much what happened to Tua Letuligasenoa - the genial, smiling Samoan of North San Diego County.

His dad, the late Saleutogi Letuligasenoa, a retired Marine and two-time Vietnam veteran, was a pastor at the First Samoan Reformed Church of Christ. He challenged Tua to adapt to his new country and become a success. Tua is well on his way to keeping his promise to his late father.

A graduate of Oceanside High School, he entered the garage door industry right out of high school . . . installing garage doors, learning how to repair them . . . learning the business. After six years of training he decided he was ready and made his Leap of Faith.

“We have great Faith in our lives,” said Tua and his wife, Laura. “We believe that my dad expected me to go into business for myself and make a success of it. That’s what I’m trying to do.” Tua and Laura both feel that not only is Tua’s knowledge and training of how to install, maintain and repair garage doors important but of equal importance is their belief that pride in workmanship . . . pride in dealing with people fairly and honestly, and pride in their integrity, all combine to provide the necessary ingredients to success.

Tua Letuligasenoa

“We have a strong feeling for integrity and family values,” says Tua. “Laura and I are committed together to do the right thing at the right time . . . to treat our clients with the utmost respect and offer our dependability, reliability, and honesty as an important part of our business ethic.” In just six short months his company, Garage Door Solutions, has rapidly grown, serving not only all of San Diego County but Riverside county as well, providing simple, cost effective solutions to garage door needs.

“We’ve arranged with major suppliers such as LiftMaster and Genie, as well as many others, to work with us to give our clients a top product and at the best possible price for garage doors and garage door openers,” says Laura, who handles the business office and scheduling of installation and repair crews. “We also take great pride in recommending the best solution to our clients. They may only need a repair rather than a new garage door. Naturally, we always give free estimates and we stand by our estimates.”

“Our name pretty much says it all,” says Tua. “Garage Door Solutions. The solution may be a simple repair, maintenance or, if necessary, replacement. We can accommodate a budget of any size. There’s no job too large or too small. All we would like is a chance to submit a free estimate and prove to you we can get the job done on time, and on budget.”

They are a handsome couple, Tua and Laura, with two beautiful kids . . . and a boatload of talent, determination, and ambition.

We think this young man from Samoa, and his family will make it. Call them. 760.994.4805.
