Opening The (Garage) Door To Success
You take a young Samoan kid of eight years of age, bring him to America and challenge him to succeed.
That’s pretty much what happened to Tua Letuligasenoa - the genial, smiling Samoan of North San Diego County.
His dad, the late Saleutogi Letuligasenoa, a retired Marine and two-time Vietnam veteran, was a pastor at the First Samoan Reformed Church of Christ. He challenged Tua to adapt to his new country and become a success. Tua is well on his way to keeping his promise to his late father.
A graduate of Oceanside High School, he entered the garage door industry right out of high school . . . installing garage doors, learning how to repair them . . . learning the business. After six years of training he decided he was ready and made his Leap of Faith.
“We have great Faith in our lives,” said Tua and his wife, Laura. “We believe that my dad expected me to go into business for myself and make a success of it. That’s what I’m trying to do.” Tua and Laura both feel that not only is Tua’s knowledge and training of how to install, maintain and repair garage doors important but of equal importance is their belief that pride in workmanship . . . pride in dealing with people fairly and honestly, and pride in their integrity, all combine to provide the necessary ingredients to success.
“We have a strong feeling for integrity and family values,” says Tua. “Laura and I are committed together to do the right thing at the right time . . . to treat our clients with the utmost respect and offer our dependability, reliability, and honesty as an important part of our business ethic.” In just six short months his company, Garage Door Solutions, has rapidly grown, serving not only all of San Diego County but Riverside county as well, providing simple, cost effective solutions to garage door needs.
“We’ve arranged with major suppliers such as LiftMaster and Genie, as well as many others, to work with us to give our clients a top product and at the best possible price for garage doors and garage door openers,” says Laura, who handles the business office and scheduling of installation and repair crews. “We also take great pride in recommending the best solution to our clients. They may only need a repair rather than a new garage door. Naturally, we always give free estimates and we stand by our estimates.”
“Our name pretty much says it all,” says Tua. “Garage Door Solutions. The solution may be a simple repair, maintenance or, if necessary, replacement. We can accommodate a budget of any size. There’s no job too large or too small. All we would like is a chance to submit a free estimate and prove to you we can get the job done on time, and on budget.”
They are a handsome couple, Tua and Laura, with two beautiful kids . . . and a boatload of talent, determination, and ambition.
