Denver

Athletic-Mountain Guy Wishes to Worship the Ground You Walk On! Adopt your Paw-fect Mate from Helen Woodward Animal Center!

"Denver" is a happy, active 4 month old, neutered, male, Catahoula Leopard Mix. A Mile-High in spunk and energy! Perfect in a home with active humans 8 years and older. "Denver" loves squeaky toys and possesses many hidden gems. Come adopt a fun furry friend from Helen Woodward Animal Center! "Denver" was originally transferred to Helen Woodward Animal Center from another shelter. About 80% of HWAC's adoptions are pets that have been transferred from other shelters that have exhausted their adoption resources. All are given a second chance to become the love of YOUR life!

You can adopt "Denver" for $195.

All pets adopted from Helen Woodward Animal Center have been spayed or neutered, have up-to-date vaccinations and microchip identification. Helen Woodward Animal Center kennels are open everyday from 11am to 6pm (Applications accepted till 5:45pm) at 6461 El Apajo Road in Rancho Santa Fe.

Please ... Feed the Animals! AniMeals is in need of pet food, particularly senior food for both dogs and cats. Our popular AniMeals program (working in cooperation with Meals-on-Wheels and other organizations) offers free pet food for the dogs and cats of elderly or disabled people throughout San Diego County.

Contact AniMeals Manager Cheryll Anders at 858-756-4117 x 341 or email cherylla@animalcenter.org

For many homebound individuals, a dog or cat is more than a pet; it can provide friendship, joy, and a reason for living. You can help by donating food at Helen Woodward Animal Center or by dropping your donations in the AniMeals bins at various PETCO stores in San Diego County. You can also hold your own AniMeals pet food drive. This is an ideal project for your office, family, school, church or temple group, scout troop, or civic organization.
