Body Can Heal Itself!

“Why Do I Use This Photo In My Ads”
And why, despite all, I still do what I do . . .
Sometimes a confession can set the
record straight, and I want to give
credit where credit is due. Before I
talk about my confession, though, let
me say a few other things first. Let
me start by explaining the photo in
this letter. When I meet people in
town they usually say, “Oh, yeah, I
know you, you’re Dr. Lim. I’ve seen
your ad with that picture of you and
the cute little boys.”
Well, I’m the guy
on the right.
Years ago something happened to
me that changed my life forever.
Back then I was a high school student
and an avid martial artist in
Korea. I developed a painful neck
condition while I was practicing flying
side-kicks. It came on suddenly.
The pain in my neck was so intense
that I couldn’t move my neck, study
or read and sometimes I couldn’t
even sleep. My hands were getting
numb. I was afraid that I’d flunk my
classes if the disability continued. I
went to a doctor who told me he didn’t
know what the problem was and
just gave me some pain pills, which
didn’t solve the problem at all. After
considering surgery (that was the
only option, according to the surgeon),
I decided against it. While I
was in college, I was introduced to a
doctor who was confident he could
help me. This new doctor does an
exam, takes some films, and then
gently ‘adjusts’ my spine.

for me, and I’m so impressed with
the other ‘miracles’ I see in his office,

Now for my boy, Matthew, on the
left. One day I received a phone call
from his school. He had gotten
injured during his gymnastics class.
He was lying flat on his back on the
gym floor, when I got there. He
could hardly move because of so
much pain in his back. He explained
to me that while he was doing his
back handsprings, he felt a stabbing
pain in his mid-back and couldn’t get
up. Upon careful examination, I
found subluxations in his mid-spine
and ribs, and started adjusting him.
He was back to his gymnastics practice
the next day. Michael, wearing
clown make-up, used to get plagued
with asthma quite often. After I
started to adjust him, the asthma
started to improve immediately, and
now, he doesn’t
have asthma at
all. He is now

But I can’t really take the credit.
My confession is that I’ve never
healed anyone of anything. What I
do is perform a specific spinal adjustment
to remove nerve pressure, and
the body responds by healing itself.
We get tremendous results. It’s as
simple as that!
My qualifications ... I’m a Summa

California University of Health
Sciences (formerly called Los
Angeles College of Chiropractic)
with 21 years in practice. I’ve been
entrusted to take care of tiny babies
to athletes that you may know. Many
of your neighbors and even other
doctors come to me for their chiropractic
care! I’m making this offer to
allow more people to find out if this
care is what they need. By law, this
offer excludes Medicare beneficiaries.
