Old Car Buff

Hello Lyle:

After reading your great article on old cars this week(April 5th), I had to look up the May 4, 2006 article as well. (Mr. Kellerup is referring to “The Sad, Sad Case of the Miller Family,” the cover story in The Paper of the above date, available in our Archives at www.thecommunitypaper.com) Just as suspected, this is the same subject as an hour long video I watched on TV; it may have been Discovery, or perhaps HD Net. Look for it on TV . . . it was a great show.

Dear Lyle, I noted with interest the subject new feature you've announced. I belong to a Life Writing group that meets every Friday and I called their attention to this and there was a positive reaction. I'll try to pick up enough issues to distribute them to the group at our meeting next week.

In the meantime I'll be sending you some of the recent thoughts on public opinion I've written. You can put it in your file and use or not use at your discretion. I hope this new feature to your publication will attract writers and prove to be positive. I'm also look ing forward to reading your feature article this week, Along The Oregon Trail. We can't even begin to imagine what the pioneer's life must have been like compared to our instant gratification lifestyle. HAPPY EASTER!

Amero Money?

If the President I voted for has his way, I'm going to be VERY SAD in 2010 to see our beloved USA issuing Amero money instead of the currency we now have. That would mean there will be NO George Washington on our $1 bills, no Abraham Lincoln on our $5. bills, no Thomas Jefferson on our $10. bills and no Andrew Jackson or U. S. Grant, respectively on our $20. and $50. bills!

President Bush is planning and is half way through executing a merger with Canada, the USA and Mexico with TOTALLY OPEN BORDERS and NEW MONEY CALLED THE AMERO! What an abomination! Why is he doing this? Is it part of the One World Government scheme to have a North American Union similar to the European Union? YES! I don't like it at all and I'm sure if most Americans knew about it, they wouldn't like it either!

Americans, wake up and do your best to put a stop to this assininity please. Don't wait until it's too late!

Several groups I hear from are alerting their readers. The foremost one is Eagle Forum at P. O. Box 618, Alton, ILL 62002. Write them to request a copy of their petition which will go to our U. S. Senate that you can sign to protest this North American Union. If it is consummated, it will destroy our nation's sovereignty!

You must say "NO" to President Bush through this petition going to the U. S. Senate.

Tubbs Found A Home

Hi Lyle,

Just wanted to update you – Tubbs, the special needs dog, has been adopted! He went to a wonderful home; he now has a family (including a happy-go-lucky Lab) to play with and care for him.
