At least nine
cities in California are sending out fake red light camera tickets,
to get you to identify the driver, so that they
can send the
real driver a real ticket. In North San Diego County the cities are
Escondido, Vista, and Encinitas.
Most people,
not having heard anything about it in the press, receive the fake
ticket and respond with the information.
