Sorority Holds "Unlock New Friendships" Luncheon
The Hidden Valley
Vista Council (HVVC) of Beta Sigma Phi (BSP) Sorority held their Beginning Day
Luncheon last Saturday at the Shadowridge Country Club to welcome all Beta
Sigma Phi members and guests. A very
inspiring program was presented by the Laureate Alpha Kappa chapter members
"Seeking Keys to Friendship."
This was a special meeting as it is the beginning of a sorority year and
a joining of two sorority councils, the Hidden Valley City Council and the
Vista City Council.
Beta Sigma Phi is
a social, cultural and philanthropic
International Sorority, headquartered in Kansas City, Missouri, with
chapters throughout the world. If you

ABWA to Feature a Program by Jill Lublin
2, the Soaring Eagles Chapter of the American Business Women's Association will
meet at the Sizzler Restaurant, 355 No. Escondido Blvd., Escondido, starting at
5:45pm for networking; dinner and program at 6pm.
Jill Lublin, CEO
of the public relations strategic consulting firm Promising Promotion, will
present a program on "The Art of Personal Marketing." Jill is an international speaker on public
relations and marketing, and has authored several audio programs and

Labor Day BBQ Planned by Garden Park Villas

Organ Recital Open to the Public
The First United
Methodist Church of Escondido will present Janice Feher, current organist at
the church, in an Organ Recital on Sunday, September 12, at 3pm in the church
sanctuary, 341 So. Kalmia St., Escondido.
Janice holds a Master of Music degree from the Univ. of Michigan, and is
a colleague of the American Guild of Organists.
Her experience includes performances on the large organ at the Kennedy
Center and St. John's Church, Lafayette Square in Washington, DC. A reception will follow the concert. For further information, call the church at
